SeaPet brand products grew out of the research and studies of the beneficial effects of shark cartilage, and in 1996, Sea Starr Animal Health began producing our first product; dog treats formulated with a proprietary blend of shark cartilage to be used as a nutritional supplement.

In light of the overwhelming response and feedback from our first product, SeaPet developed our current full line of pet supplements; all intended to promote better quality of life and improved agility for cats, dogs, and horses.

The unique Sea Pet products combine the best of modern technology with proven, natural ingredients to yield these unique and healthy food supplements.

At SeaPet, we are very pleased and proud to be able to provide products that can help to lengthen and improve the quality of time that you have with your pets.

The original SeaPet products were developed by Carder Starr (BA in Geological Sciences, Brown University and M.M.A., University of Rhode Island) in association with notable veterinarians. Carter always had a love for the oceans and believed that many substances and products in the oceans that can help human beings and their companion pets live healthier lives. And that’s how SeaPet continues today.

We are strong advocates for the sustainable and responsible harvests of oceanic resources and believe that these resources provide much needed aid to pets and animals suffering from the pain of joint stiffness and joint cartilage deterioration.
